Infopulse Named Finalist of DevOps Industry Awards 2017
This year, organizations from all over Europe and the UK submitted their entries to the DevOps Awards. An independent jury selected the finalists in 12 categories to recognize dedication and efforts shown by the companies with their projects. The list of finalists comprises many world’s largest companies, such as Lloyds Banking Group, Banco Santander, Barclays, Nomura, Allianz Insurance, Trainline, Scania, Centrica, CloserStill Media, Liberty Global, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, and others.
Infopulse was named a finalist in the Best Overall DevOps Project – Public Sector Category.
The cooperation with an EU-based customer, the large state education agency, is an extensive project, where Infopulse takes part as a primary IT service provider. Infopulse migrated the whole customer’s business to the unified Microsoft’s stack of technologies, supporting software development and delivery process with a mature DevOps approach. This allowed the customer to implement their IT strategy, achieve strategic goals, simplify business processes, and decrease operational costs.
While evaluating applications in this category, the judges were looking for successful utilization of DevOps methods and practices, proofs of achieving project goals and overcoming challenges, and detailed justification of selected principles of work, resources, methodologies etc.
The winners in each category will be announced during the Awards Gala Dinner, to be held on Oct.18, 2017, in Central London. More than 600 IT professionals from all over the world will attend the event to celebrate their hard work and success.
