Infopulse Creates Public Portal for Chamber of Commerce, based on Microsoft SharePoint Server
The client approached Infopulse with the need to implement a public communication and collaboration platform that would serve as a single access point for corporate information landscape. There was also a need for implementation of a delivery channel of the community news.
As a result, Infopulse delivered to the customer a sophisticated portal with the following features:
- Document lifecycle management
- News & Events mailing system
- Discussions
- Wiki content
The portal was realized on the basis of Microsoft SharePoint. The development took about 16 weeks with four engineers being involved in the project.
The implemented solution became an important element of the community culture. The satisfaction level of customers was essentially increased. The effectiveness and efficiency of generic business processes were boosted, while reducing workloads and costs. There was also an extra effect of enhanced security and safety of information management activities.
