Senior Developer/Analyst for Telecom Billing System (m/f/d)

Infopulse, Part of TietoEvry Create, is inviting a talented professional to join our growing team as a Senior Developer/Analyst for Telecom Billing System for our respectful customer BICS.

Highly motivated and skilled Developer/Analyst sought to join a small but dynamic team responsible for managing a complex billing system in the telecommunications industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling various aspects of the billing system, primarily in an Oracle DB environment.

Areas of Responsibility

• Analyse and understand business requirements related to the telecom billing system
• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle DB objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data as per business needs
• Collaborate with the team to identify areas of improvement and propose innovative solutions for efficient billing processes
• After training:
• Write the test cases, Test Strategy documents, and do Unit testing, ITT, UAT and Performance testing and do E2E coordination for testing
• Work in production support activities. Actively participate in identifying the issues, analysing the impact of the issue, fixing the production incidents, providing work arounds and ensure E2E coordination of the incident to ensure uninterrupted billing operations
• Actively participate in meetings, discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions with the team to ensure effective teamwork and seamless coordination

Qualifications

• Solid experience in working with complex systems, preferably for billing in telecommunications industry
• Proficiency in Oracle Database development and administration, including PL/SQL, triggers, and optimization techniques
• Ability to quickly grasp new technologies, frameworks, and business processes related to the telecom industry
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate within the team and liaise with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment

Will be an advantage

• Expertise in Unix/Linux Pro *C programming for batch processing and automation, training will be provided if needed
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports for application customization, training will be provided if needed
• Familiarity with telecom billing concepts, including rating, charging, invoicing, and customer management, or similar complex concepts
