Business Challenge

In July 2022, the company partnered with Infopulse to execute a range of IT infrastructure transformation and maintenance, as well as cybersecurity projects.

The initial goal of our partnership was to assist the client in establishing a Microsoft tenant for their company, which required a granular step-by-step evaluation of their cloud migration process. The original idea quickly spiraled into a larger project scope as the client recognized the necessity of a robust technical framework.

Solution & Business Value

Infopulse helped the manufacturing company to migrate their IT infrastructure to Microsoft Azure cloud, implement Office 365 services, and secure corporate data with Microsoft and Azure security.

By realigning IT, development, and the business and promoting a new organizational canon, the client received a number of benefits with the cloud migration project:

  • Optimized costs through digital alignment
  • Greater flexibility and scalability
  • Keep operations safe through enhanced security and resilience
  • Achieve better regulatory compliance
  • Have proven backup, recovery, and failover practices in place
  • Improve employee experience and customer engagement, making it a centerpiece of operations
  • Have a coherent ecosystem with all the horizontal functions – from marketing and sales departments to procurement and SOC – revolving around customer & employee journeys

Technical Details

To eliminate organizational silos, our client chose a two-fold solution, consisting of sequential steps, namely:

Step I: Migration to Microsoft Azure:

  • Migrate to cloud-only, secure, and easy‐to-manage solutions
  • Scale up/down business needs
  • Save costs on IT infrastructure

Step II: Managed Service + Post-Implementation Support

  • User support, incidents, and request management
  • Office 365 and Azure infrastructure support
  • Requests escalation to the Microsoft support team on behalf of the client

Overall, the services provided by Infopulse to the manufacturing enterprise included:

  • Cloud migration initiation
  • Landscape implementation
  • File storage migration to Azure Stage
  • Database migration to Azure
