SharePoint IT Engineer (Administrator) (m/f/d/v)

Infopulse, part of Tietoevry Create, is looking for a skilled and proactive SharePoint IT Engineer (Administrator) to manage and maintain our SharePoint environment. This role involves configuring, managing, and supporting SharePoint solutions to ensure optimal performance, security, and usability. The ideal candidate will have experience in SharePoint administration, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to providing excellent support for end-users.

Areas of Responsibility

Administration & Maintenance

  • Install, configure, and maintain SharePoint servers, environments, and services
  • Perform regular backups, patches, and updates to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Monitor system performance, logs, and activities to identify and resolve issues proactively

Configuration & Customization

  • Create and configure new sites, libraries, lists, and document libraries as required
  • Customize SharePoint features using out-of-the-box functionalities, web parts, and basic coding where needed
  • Implement and maintain SharePoint workflows, forms, and permissions to support business needs

User Support & Training

  • Provide technical support for SharePoint-related issues, assist end-users with troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to help users make the most of SharePoint features
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into SharePoint solutions

Security & Compliance

  • Manage SharePoint security, including user permissions, group memberships, and roles
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards, performing audits as necessary
  • Implement security measures, such as encryption and access control to protect sensitive information

Collaboration & Integration

  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SharePoint with other systems, including Office 365, CRM, ERP, and external applications
  • Facilitate seamless collaboration and communication across departments by optimizing SharePoint’s collaboration features

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 administration
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, services, and features
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration tasks
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft Teams integration with SharePoint
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, Windows Server, and Active Directory

Will be an advantage

  • SharePoint certification(s) (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator)
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and/or Power Automate
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
